With credentials that speak volumes, Jo holds an Associate of Applied Science in Radio, Television, and Film, a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Studies with a focus on Ethnomusicology (the study of people making music), and is a Certified Audio Production Engineer.

As an active participant in the music scene, Jo's affiliations include prestigious names like Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI), the Dallas Songwriters Association, Nashville Songwriters Association International, and the Global Songwriters Connection. His journey in the audio realm was molded through a formative internship under the guidance of Paul Osborn. This mentorship allowed Jo to glean from Paul's expertise in recording, tracking, and mixing, a skillset that has contributed to American Music Award-winning, Grammy-nominated projects, and over 25 Gold and Platinum records.

Jo's commitment to his craft led him to refine his mixing and mastering abilities under the guidance of Fett, a revered 30-year music industry veteran renowned for his innovative Ninja Mastering Technique. However, Jo's talents extend beyond engineering prowess; he is a singer and songwriter celebrated for his creative compositions. A testament to his musical proficiency lies in his release of 53 original tracks spanning across six albums.
